Over the past ten years, the Swedish corporate bond market has greatly expanded, with both market capitalisation and the number of issuers more than doubling. This development is, first and foremost, very positive, and testifies to the fact that more companies, especially small and medium-sized ones, have been able to obtain financing through the market. At the same time, the bond market has become more complex, and many new issues of market regulation have attracted the attention of regulators, practitioners and the media.
The book – Företagsobligationsmarknadsrätt – provides an introduction to the development, functioning and participants of the corporate bond market and, on this basis, addresses the regulation of the market. The rules covered include investor protection and equal treatment, prospectus and listing rules, bond issuers’ disclosure obligations under the EU Market Abuse Regulation, intermediary law issues, and issues of liquidity and price transparency.
The book is written by Erik Lidman and is aimed at practitioners in the market, but also students and new employees approaching the issues.
The book is available for purchase here, as of May 31st: https://shop.nj.se/products/foretagsobligationsmarknadsratt
