The SCGI is participating in a joint EU research project on the harmonisation of sanctions of market abuse, together with researchers from Spain (profs. Andrés Recalde Castelles & Fernando Juan y Mateu), France (prof. Alain Pietrancosta), Germany (prof. Rüdiger Veil), Italy (prof. Marco Ventoruzzo), Finland (prof. Mårten Knuts), Denmark (prof. Jesper Lau Hansen), Norway (profs. Morten Kinander, Knut Bergo & Johan Boucht) and the UK (prof. Barry Rider). A conference was held in Olso on June 5–6.
