On 27 January, the OECD published “Regulatory Frameworks and Trends in the Corporate Bond Market”. The report analyses key regulatory issues related to directors’ fiduciary duties, bond issuance decisions, disclosure requirements, bondholder rights, trustees, out-of-court debt restructuring, and sustainable corporate bonds.
In order to further discuss the corporate bond market findings, the OECD and the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) hosted a webinar on 18 March, bringing together experts to examine policy implications for corporate bond markets.
Erik Lidman, Director of SCGI, participated in the panel discussion, providing insights from a Swedish perspective.
The panel also included:
– Ruari Ewing, ICMA
– Neil Pallender, Linklaters
– Marta Viegas, Inter-American Development Bank
