Whether information constitutes inside information is, for various reasons, a broad issue that is the subject of much debate. The Court of Justice of the European Union has now issued a ruling in a case in which the Swedish Supreme Court had requested a preliminary ruling. SCGI Director Erik Lidman and PhD Candidate Jesper Zackrisson, together with professor Jesper Lau Hansen (University of Copenhagen), have written a commentary published on the Oxford Business Law Blog.
